Top of the pops and number one chart songs don’t make you a dancehall super star. You need to me making dubplates for sound systems and records played in the dancehall

Everyone wants to be Jamaican until time to be Jamaican. Everything positive and love every nations wants to tell the world how their nations contribute to the greatness that is Jamaica. When intellectuals can’t find why they find a grain of sand and say this is the missing link.
Every year a difference nation wants to tell the world where Jamaica got its Jamaica from: and every year Jamaica stand up and say No. Jamaica creates doesn’t not take from others, others take from Jamaican. Listen to the words of the pledge, and national anthem. Which other nation have those words in their pledge?
I worked in a record shop in the 90s and my favourite artist to play loud was Cutty Ranks. There was just something about his rough style.
